Now while that's a pretty impressive line-up by any
measure, here's something truly outstanding. Susan Egan, "The Belle
of Broadway," will be entertaining Disney Vacation Club
audiences in two exclusive live performances. Nominated for a Tony
Award® and a Drama Desk® Award for her
Broadway role as the original 'Belle' in Disney's "Beauty and the
Beast," the multitalented Ms. Egan is also familiar to Disney fans
as the voice of 'Meg' in the 1997 animated Disney feature,
"Hercules." She recently completed her run in the starring role of
"Thoroughly Modern Millie" on Broadway, and we're very excited to
have her aboard the S.S. Member Cruise 2005.
And there's even more fun in store, as a Disney celebration
wouldn't be complete without a surprise or two. All will be revealed
when we're at sea!
Our Ambassador aboard the S.S. Member Cruise 2005
to a scheduling change, Rebecca Godsil, a 2005 Walt Disney
World Ambassador, is no longer able to join us aboard the
Disney Wonder. Taking over her duties is Christopher White,
another member of this year's amazing Ambassador Team.
A native of South Carolina, Christopher visited the
Walt Disney World Resort countless times with his family. His
childhood dream of working there was realized as a college student,
hired as a Merchandise Host in Tomorrowland® at
the Magic Kingdom® Park. He followed up that
experience with a management internship in the merchandise division.
After graduating from college, Christopher was hired as a Retail
Guest Service Manager at the Magic Kingdom Park, a position
he has held for the past five years.
As part of our Guest Speaker Series, Christopher will share the
history of the Ambassador program (created by Walt Disney himself in
1964), its evolution, and his involvement in recent events
surrounding the Happiest Celebration On Earth.
Christopher is also scheduled to attend our special "Bon Voyage
Party" on September 3, 2005. For details about this pre-sailing
event, please read on!

the cruise by hosting a "Bon Voyage Party" in your honor! Come down
to Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island on Saturday,

Calling all treasure-trackers!
Our "Day of Adventure"

and buccaneers. Now you can get in the spirit early by taking part
in our first-ever S.S. Member Cruise Pirate Adventure during the
"Bon Voyage Party."
This two-hour scavenger hunt on Pleasure Island
and throughout the Downtown Disney area is guaranteed to challenge
your mind as much as your might. For a "treasure hunting" fee of $50
per person, you'll receive your official pirate gear, consisting of
an authentic pirate eye patch and bandana; a complete set of
official pirate maps and clues; and a little lighted treasure to
call your own. Trek over bridges and paths to find the key to unlock
a hidden treasure chest at the end of the adventure.†
